New 2001 UK Police Force Intruder Alarm Policy
  • The New APCO Police Force Policy on Intruder alarms was introduced on January 1st 2001 aimed at reducing false alarms further still.
Only confirmed alarm system signals will be accepted from new installations after October 2001. What does this all mean ?

Any existing alarm systems that lose Police response will have to upgrade their system to a confirmed technology system in order to regain a Police level 1 response.

If you are unsure what level Police response your system is currently on please contact us on 01484 321321 quoting your Contract/Site no. and Personal ID code to obtain your current status from our Customer Service.

All our Galaxy Alarm panels are capable of being upgraded to confirmed signalling.
