    A detector above racking or a camera over a loading bay can be awkward to reach. We’ll agree access with your team, including areas that need clearing and any interruption to the existing system.

Warehouse CCTV needs to show useful detail when you review an incident. We install and upgrade cameras for loading bays, yards and storage areas, with recording and playback planned around how your team will use the footage.

Access control

Warehouse access control lets you give staff access to the areas they use. We fit card and fob systems and door entry, so you can manage warehouse doors, stock rooms and offices without issuing everyone the same keys.

  • Permissions for the job

    An office user and a warehouse supervisor may need different doors; permissions can reflect those differences.

  • Keeping access up to date

    We’ll show the people managing the system how to change permissions and cancel a lost card or fob.

  • Doors used in an emergency

    We check each controlled door’s escape requirements before specifying its locks and release arrangements.

Fire alarms

We install, upgrade and maintain fire alarms for warehouses and depot buildings. Ceiling height, racking and stored materials all matter when choosing detection, alongside how the building is used and the fire precautions it needs.

A warehouse fire risk assessment looks at the premises as they are used now. We arrange assessments through Centurion, with a written report and prioritised actions to help you plan improvements.

  • Stock, people and working arrangements

    Share what you store, who uses the building and changes to the layout, including any charging or storage areas.

  • A report your team can act on

    The report records the findings and actions in priority order, giving you a clear basis for planning the work.

  • Following up on the findings

    If the assessment identifies alarm, fire-door or emergency-lighting work, we can discuss what is needed separately.

Questions about your warehouse or depot

Can the office alarm be set while the warehouse is still working?

Yes, where the layout and intruder alarm allow separate areas to be set. We’ll check the doors still in use and who needs access, including late drivers and cleaners. CCTV or intruder alarm monitoring can also be included after checking the equipment and connection. We’ll agree who should be contacted after an activation.

Can you look after systems installed by another company?

Often, yes. We’ll need to check the equipment, its condition and whether we can support it. Send us the system make and any recent service reports, including faults or outstanding work. Access matters too: let us know if devices are above racking or in areas that are difficult to clear during loading.

Can one enquiry cover several distribution centres or depots?

Yes. Start with a list of the sites and what each one needs. Systems, layouts and working hours may differ, so we’ll look at each location’s starting point. Tell us who manages the equipment locally and who coordinates work across the business. Our proposal will explain the work at each site and any maintenance or monitoring included.

What affects the cost of warehouse security systems?

The areas you need to cover, the detail required from cameras, the number of controlled doors and the equipment already installed all affect the price. Cable routes and access above racking can also change the work involved. Tell us your priorities and any problems with the current system so we can quote for the work you need. Ongoing maintenance and monitoring should be considered alongside installation.
