FOUNDED IN 1974 CENTURION HAS GROWN TO BECOME ONE OF THE UK'S MOST WELL-RESPECTED FIRE AND SECURITY SPECIALISTS, HAVING WORKED ON THOUSANDS OF COMMERCIAL PROJECTS OF ALL SIZES AND SCOPE.

50 years ago, we started life as a modest organisation, working on domestic and small commercial projects. From these humble beginnings in our founder’s garage, we have developed into a multi-disciplined commercially focused business, designing, installing and commissioning, Intruder & Commercial fire alarms, Access Control and CCTV systems. We have esteemed and diverse organisations among our list of clients, including West Yorkshire Police, H.M. Prisons, The Nuclear Industry, Sellafield Ltd, Jaguar Land Rover, Morrisons Supermarkets, Expect Distribution and many local councils such as Barnsley MBC and Kirklees MBC.

In 2016 – 50 years after inception – we secured our most prestigious contract to date; a high-profile Nuclear Industry project, in which we designed and supplied a £1.5m CCTV system for use in hazardous environments.

Our strong base of clients has grown entirely from recommendations and our long-lasting reputation as industry leaders in new technology – something which we are incredibly proud of.

In our time, we have pioneered industry best-practice, including remote resetting and remote diagnostics and continue to invest in the best technology the 21st century has to offer, recently using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in our CCTV systems to identify human intruders and reduce false alarms.

Because we work closely with manufacturers, we are able to share the latest information on technology, techniques, systems and processes with our Consultant Partners via regular CPD approved seminars.

REMOTE DIAGNOSTICS
We resolve customers issues as seamless as possible. Available 24 hours 7 days a week, our remote diagnostic service desk, for 75% of all calls we are able to remotely diagnose and rectify faults, without the need for a service engineer site visit – saving you and ourselves both time and money.

AN EXPERIENCED TEAM OF SKILLED ENGINEERS
Employing local people, our Engineering team and Managers are specialists within the fields of Fire Safety and Security. With regular training, all our staff are kept up to date with the latest regulations and best practices. Over 30% of our Engineering workforce started out as Apprentices and have been trained internally and externally in all the relevant codes of practice and British Standards.

A BADGE OF QUALITY
Centurion has been a member of the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) since 1986, achieving the GOLD standard in all four disciplines for FIRE, CCTV, INTRUDER, ACCESS systems installation and maintenance.

We also hold the coveted BAFE-accreditation for Fire alarm system installations and have ISO 9001 certification.

DON’T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT

We are a manufacturer of Specialist Glass products who operate a night shift production factory. We first approached Centurion after an incident occurred during a night shift which gave us cause for concern. Whilst more expensive than a conventional analogue CCTV system the HD IP CCTV Centurion installed has far superior quality images and ease of use when playing back or reviewing recorded footage. We wholly recommend the service Centurion has provided us with and would not hesitate to use their services again.

Bradford Royal Infirmary and St Luke’s Hospital employ over 4,500 staff on two sites covering 59 acres.
