    Built for business

    Business CCTV systems

The right business CCTV systems do more than record: they deter, protect staff and stock, settle disputes and give you eyes on your premises from anywhere. We scope CCTV systems for business of every size, from a single retail unit to a national estate, and grow them with you.

Multi-site? Manage every camera through one secure platform, with role-based access for managers and centralised recording. As your business changes, we add cameras, sites and analytics without ripping out what you already have.

Single platform, every site: view and manage all your cameras and recordings from one secure interface.
Scalable by design: start with the cameras you need and add coverage, sites and analytics as you grow.
Operational value: reduce shrinkage, resolve H&S and HR disputes and protect lone workers, not just deter break-ins.

    How we work

    CCTV & security camera installation

    01

    Site survey

A free site survey to assess your premises, blind spots, lighting and the camera coverage your business needs.

    02

    Design & quote

A clear, fixed-price design covering camera positions, resolution, recording and analytics, mapped to your building and budget.

    03

    Installation

Our employed, accredited commercial CCTV installers fit cameras, cabling or wireless links and recorders cleanly around your operation.

    04

    Commission & handover

We configure views, recording and retention, set up remote access and hand over a fully documented, GDPR-ready system.

Every commercial CCTV installation is backed by a maintenance contract: planned servicing, health checks and firmware updates with 24/7 emergency call-out, keeping your cameras recording and your footage admissible.

    Always watching

    Remote monitoring & maintenance

Recording footage is only half the job. Monitored CCTV connects your cameras to a 24/7 Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), so an out-of-hours activation triggers a real, verified response, such as audio challenge, keyholder or police, not just a clip nobody sees until Monday.

And because a camera that isn't recording is worthless when you need it, every system is backed by planned servicing, health checks and secure, GDPR-aligned storage and retention.

    24/7 monitored CCTV

Cameras connected to an NSI-approved ARC for verified, out-of-hours response every day of the year.

    Remote viewing & alerts

Live and recorded footage on any device, with motion and analytics alerts pushed straight to your phone.

    Maintenance & servicing

Planned servicing contracts, health checks and firmware updates keep every camera recording reliably.

    Storage & retention

Secure NVR or cloud recording with retention scheduled to your evidential needs and GDPR obligations.

    Why Centurion

Why businesses choose us as their CCTV installation company

Three decades as a dedicated commercial security company. NSI and SSAIB accredited, in-house and accountable from first survey to final handover, with every system installed to BS EN 62676 and the ICO surveillance camera code.

    01

    NSI & SSAIB accredited

Every CCTV system is designed and installed to BS EN 62676 and the ICO surveillance camera code by NSI and SSAIB third-party certified engineers, the standard your insurer expects, with documentation provided as standard.

    02

    Commercial only

We focus entirely on business premises. Every system accounts for stock value, insurance terms and the realities of a working site, not domestic kit stretched to cover a commercial building.

    03

    End-to-end in-house

Survey, design, installation, commissioning and monitoring all delivered by employed engineers, with no sub-contractors, no hand-offs and one point of accountability throughout your project.

    04

    Regional, rapid response

Engineers based across Yorkshire and the North mean faster maintenance visits and emergency call-outs. No national call centres, no extended travel times: local expertise, local presence.

    Good to know

    Frequently asked questions

How much does a commercial CCTV system cost?

Cost depends on the number of cameras, resolution, whether you need NVR or cloud storage, and the level of monitoring. A small office system with a handful of cameras starts at a few hundred pounds; larger multi-camera systems with analytics and monitoring cost more. We provide a clear, fixed-price quote after a free site survey, with no estimates that creep.

Is CCTV at work covered by GDPR?

Yes. Any CCTV system that captures images of identifiable people, staff, visitors or the public, falls under UK GDPR and the ICO’s surveillance camera code of practice. We design every system around clear signage, defined retention periods and access controls, so your business stays compliant from day one.

How many cameras does my business need?

It depends on your premises, entrances, blind spots and what you need to evidence. A small office might need 4 to 8 cameras, while a warehouse or retail park can need 20 or more. We confirm the right number and placement during your free survey, based on your building and risk profile.

    Do you provide monitored CCTV?

Yes. We connect your cameras to a 24/7 NSI-approved Alarm Receiving Centre, so an out-of-hours activation triggers a real, verified response, such as audio challenge, keyholder or police, rather than a clip nobody reviews until Monday. You can also view live and recorded footage from your phone at any time.

Can you take over or upgrade an existing CCTV system?

In most cases, yes. We’ll survey your existing cameras and recorders, advise on any upgrades needed to meet current standards and your GDPR obligations, and put the system on a planned maintenance contract with 24/7 emergency call-out. We’ll tell you honestly if a full replacement is more cost-effective than upgrading.
