Guardian House, a listed building in Bradford city centre, is being refurbished into modern office and community spaces as part of a regeneration project by Inspired Neighbourhoods. With hundreds of people set to use the building every day, it needed a new fire detection and alarm system that gave full protection while preserving its historic fabric.

The solution

We designed, installed and commissioned a wireless addressable multi-panel fire alarm system, fully compliant with BS 5839-1:2017, with reliable coverage throughout the building. The installation included:

  • Remote monitoring: cloud connection for ongoing system reporting and management.
  • Safety devices: addressable detectors, manual call points and sounder VADs for a rapid emergency response.
